Centrifuges are used to separate solid-liquid mixtures with a high solids content. These centrifuges with solid drums and screw or decanter operate continuously, unlike chamber filter presses. High centrifugal forces separate fine solid particles from the suspension due to different densities.

ATECSE3D offers an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with a content between 2 and 3% molybdenum, thereby obtaining the following advantages:

• We increase corrosion resistance.

• We improve pitting resistance in chloride ion solutions.

• We increase the resistance of the material at high temperatures.

Our steels are particularly effective in acidic environments and protect against corrosion caused by sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids, as well as acid sulfates and alkali chlorides.
